I really got serious about photography when my art tutor in secondary school instructed me to my first DSLR camera. Seeing the world for the first time through a viewfinder really inspired me to get creative with composition, lighting and subject matter. It helped me develop a keen eye of detail and a passion for expressionism through the medium of photography. For as long as I can remember I have always loved being outdoors in nature and from a young age have loved the challenge of trying to capture ‘that feeling’ within an photograph; you know, that feeling of serenity, the feeling you experience when immersed in the elements, the sense of isolation when you have the mountain to yourself. My Images are all about telling a story and documenting those moments of fascination. To help me tell this story I have created a dedicated Instagram portfolio to sharing my adventures around the UK and also have plans to create a YouTube channel to help reach a larger audience and share my experiences as a landscape & product photographer.
